Donna Bruni began her career in the arts as a graphic designer in New York City. She studied painting, drawing and graphic design at Endicott College and the School of Visual Arts in NYC. She received her B.A. from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, where she studied use of visual imagary in cross-cultural healing practices. She established her studio in Minneapolis in 1995, while participating in a two year mentor program for emerging artists. In 2009, she curated the Heartland Exhibition, integrating painting, sculpture and music in community wellness initiatives at Mill City Clinic in MInneapolis. Donna teaches expressive painting in public education and healthcare, engaging people from all walks of life in sharing diverse experiences through the image-making process. Her paintings are in public and private collections throughout the United States.
