Workshops + Events
My painting practice centers on sensory perception of natural environments, urban landscapes and healing places we are drawn to in our lives. As a teaching artist, my emphasis is on providing guidance and support through all stages of the painting process. I am privileged to work with artists of all ages, from all walks of life, sharing and creating connections across boundaries, through the creative process.

Be inspired by the beauty of Lake Superior at the historic Grand Marais Art Colony. We'll start outdoors observing color, light, form, pattern and line within the surrounding landscape, making visual notes, then move indoors to Founders Hall to paint on canvas. Expand your visual language and explore new directions in painting through sensory perception with emphasis on interpreting color, energy, texture, emotion and sense of place within the painted canvas. Instructor feedback supports individual artistic growth. Email email@example.com for list of supplies and registration details.
